Nordica Team Weekend

This weekend I headed to the Stubaier Glacier for the last Nordica Team Meeting of the season.We had two great days together on the mountain and enjoyed the spring conditions.Sunny weather,slushy snow and a lot of fun.

German Championships & Livigno Trip

One week ago I definitely had my last competition for the season,the german championships at the category Slopestyle and Halfpipe.The whole challenge took place at the Kaunertaler Glacier.The Slopestyle course as well as the Halfpipe were in a pretty good shape.We had a lot of fun and after all I got 3rd in both categories :-)

Then we (Sebastian Geiger,Lucas Mangold,Tobi Mangold,Sebastian Scheck & Gumper) travelled straight from the Kaunertaler Glacier to Livigno.We had a great week with perfect weather and good park conditions.

Quiksilver Wirschanzen Final

Last weekend I actually thought I will have my last competiton for this season,the big Qiksilver Wirschanzen Final at the Stubaier Glacier.The park was perfect for the contest but it was too windy to jump the kickers.After due considerations they decided to cancel the final and to assign the points from the overall ranking.Luckily I had 44 points and could win the tour.I'm pretty happy now but the german championships are still coming up this weekend at the Kaunertaler Glacier.

Nine Queens,World Ski Test and Spring days :-)

Circa two weeks ago I was allowed to jump the Nine Queens Chateau in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis.(Thanks Nico Zacek!)It was such a big experience for me.We hit the castle the whole day long,whether the big jump or the jib line through the tunnel,it was always so much fun.It was also crazy for me to shred with the best female Freeski girls in the world.The level was incredible and the girls delivered a great show.All in all there's nothing more to say than: It was one of the best days in my life :-)

Last week Christl and I got invited to the World Ski Test 2011 in Kaprun.At the first evening we went on top of the mountain for a big dinner and yes it was so delicious ;-) Then two tiring days awaited us.We had to get up on the mountain at 7 o'clock for testing all the new skis and not only Twin Tips.After that we ( Gabi Holaus,Christl Radulowiz,Dominic Hasibeder and me) had to shoot in the park,it was really hard because the park was shit and it was pretty warm.We had to hike the whole time,that made us very tired but at least we got some shots together.However we had a good time there with a lot of fun.

This weekend we had a nice slushy springday in Serfaus.Great park,great weather and fun :-)

Last Friday we started our roadway in an eastward direction,more precisely to Heubach/Thüringen because of the last Wirschanzen Tourstopp aside from the final.After four hours travelling,we arrived at the appartment of all judges,organisers,filmers and so on.We stayed there a while and had a funny evening.On the next day we went on top of the ''big'' mountain for some runs and yes,I had a pretty hard training with some bad slumps.But later,when the contest started I luckily landed all my tricks.After 3 runs,the girls and I hanged out in the sun,started weird stuff like shredding with one ski and had a super good day with so much fun.I finally reached the 1st place and could stay on top of the podium.At the moment I'm 1st at the overall ranking and it all depends on the final,if  I'll win the Tour,or not ;-)

But now,I'm super excited to hit the Nine Queens Castle ''The Chateau'' on friday.It's a pretty huge jump and definitely a big challenge for me.Excited,excited,excited ;-)

AFO & Nine Queens

Last week I passed in Kaprun at the Austrian Freeski Open.It was such a great week.Every day was full of skiing in the huge park at the Kitzsteinhorn..On Thursday it was up to the Girls & Rookies and on Friday and Saturday it was up to the men.The Contest wasn't that good for me,but no matter,I had a pretty good time.The level of riding was pretty high,as every year but the other girls and boys killed it and delivered a great show.

Competitions :-)

The last two weekends were pretty successful for me.Last Sunday I won the K2 Youngstarschallenge,a competition only for Rookies until the age of 16, and this Saturday I got 1st at the third stop of the Wirschanzen Tour.The Contest existed on a Jib-Setup so it was all about rails and boxes and that was definitely my area.Surprisingly we were a lot of girls just if we compare it to the contests before.We girls had a great day and I think it was my first competition where I wasn't nervous :-)
